On the 23rd April Julian Morris, Visiting Professor and Technical Director of the Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology (CPACT) at Strathclyde University, and Emeritus Professor of Process Control at Newcastle University, attended a Dinner and Awards Ceremony in London to receive a Amity Global Academic Excellence Award, as a token of their appreciation for his contributions in the field of Academics. The presentations were made by Baroness Varma alongside senior Amity staff. The Amity University of India. Based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Amity University is part of the Amity Education Group. Established in 2005, it is a fast growing private University that recently opened a campus in New York. It was India's first private university to reserve places for disadvantaged castes (www.amity.edu).
