CPACT Webinar on
Spectroscopic analysis of harsh environments
Johannes Kiefer, University of Bremen
22nd January 2026 at 3pm (UK time)
Most industrial processes represent rather
harsh environments. The comprise of multiple phases, are chemically complex,
and may contain strong gradients in the spatial and temporal composition,
temperature, and pressure profiles. As a consequence, the application of
spectroscopic methods is a challenge.
The webinar will highlight the use of atomic
and molecular spectroscopy in highly turbulent reactive multiphase flows. The
nanoparticle synthesis in spray flames will be one example to be discussed.

This webinar will last no longer than one hour.
This webinar is for CPACT members only.
