Associate Members of CPACT are individuals who were once employed by either Member companies or other industrial organisations and are still active in process analysis and control as consultants.  Each Associate Member has a wealth of experience and collectively they provide unparalleled expertise to help advise CPACT Members on a wide range of technical and business matters.

Through CPACT, the Associate Member Consultants have agreed to form a Consultancy Hub that allows CPACT member organisations to access consultancy support at a preferred rate for an agreed number of days.

Click on the images below to find out more details about each Associate Member and their expertise.

How the scheme operates:

  1. The scheme is only open to CPACT Members.
  2. Contact one or more Associate Members using the email they have provided to request a conversation on the support required. The email should be copied to admin@cpact.com
  3. It is up to each Associate Members to decide if they are able to accommodate a consultancy request within the scheme, when contacted by a CPACT member.
  4. The Associate Member will decide how many days of consultancy at the reduced “CPACT” rate they can offer on each occasion. This would typically be up to 3 days.
  5. If a consultancy arises, the Associate Member will inform admin@cpact.com .
  6. The “CPACT” rate is £1000 per day plus VAT and any additional expenses such as for travel etc.
  7. The consultancy income at the “CPACT” rate will be split with 25% to CPACT and 75% retained by the consultant.
  8. Consultancy provided beyond the agreed days at the “CPACT” rate will normally be charged at the consultant’s normal daily rate, to be agreed between the consultant and the CPACT member.

The CPACT Consultancy Hub provides unique access to a collection of experienced and trusted advisers who can assist with the design, development and deployment of PAT/Control system equipment/platforms. Their expertise spans multi-national companies (MNCs), and SMEs across most sectors including O&G, F&B, FMCG, and Pharmaceutical (API, OSD, Bio).

Vic Griffiths

I have worked for over 4 decades providing technical solutions and equipment for use in hazardous areas including explosive atmospheres. This can entail helping our clients to get full certification for their equipment to ATEX and IECEX as well as offering notified body certification to UL, FM & CSA compliance standards.

I was instrumental in the founding and establishment of Expo LLC a company dedicated to developing technologies for the service of the pharmaceutical industry, designing a new range of spectrometers focused on the solid oral dosage form development and manufacturing. More recently, I helped found Expo Process Analytics, a company focused on end-to-end engineering of PAT systems and the interfacing into processing equipment.

I was responsible for maintaining and building excellent relationships with Expo Process Analytics customers across all markets that are covered but with a strong focus on the pharmaceutical side of the business.

Throughout my career I have remained passionate about engineering, encouraging others to build on the shoulders of the knowledge base which has been hard earned and, more than ever, is shared amongst a team rather than one individual. Being an Associate Member of CPACT would enable me to contribute to the community of experts, nurture ideas from the rich knowledge base, interface with academic and industrial practitioners and hopefully bring a mixture of new generation companies into the CPACT community as well as a couple of well-established multinationals.

I am an Assistant County Commissioner for Water Activities for Scouts in the Greater London Southwest area, and a Freeman of City of London. In addition, I am a member of the Worshipful Company of Watermen and Lightermen. I am a trustee The Great River Race which is a marathon on water from the Isle of Dogs to Ham (21.5 miles) in which I have been involved since 1990. I also started a charity with Bamber Gascoyne called Skerries for Schools which allows comprehensive schools access to the river. Also, Chairman of the Jubilant Trust which is a boat that was gifted to HRH The Queen on her Golden Jubilee and now take Children of all ages and disabilities onto the river in her honour.
