Considerations for model maintenance and performance assessment of Advanced Process Control technology in the Pharmaceutical industry

20th August 2020 at 3pm (UK time)

Advanced Process Control (APC) is a set of technologies and tools that are well established in the process industries. Model-based and model-free APC techniques are used to actively adjust Critical Process Parameters to improve product quality, maximise economic performance and improve process robustness. Although these techniques are relatively new to the Pharmaceutical industry, they have been applied successfully to a variety of small and large molecule applications.

This talk provides an overview of established techniques for the assessment of Advanced Process Control system performance. It considers how these techniques could be applied in the Pharmaceutical industry and included in existing initiatives such as Continuous Process Verification.

This webinar will be presented by John Mack, Engineering Director, Perceptive Engineering.
