Research activity in CPACT is organised under four Themes that put emphasis on manufacturing processes where advances in process analysis and control will have significant benefits. Robust Methods for Monitoring and Control of Solid Processes
Methodologies for Process Modelling, Optimisation and Model Portability Improve product development and manufacturing performance through model-based scale-up and scale down, dynamic performance monitoring, and model portability. Reduce the time taken to introduce new and modified products into full-scale production. Reduce time to transfer production from one vessel to another and from one site to another (model portability).
